Every vintage we search for the most outstanding barrels that showcase the most spectacular attributes of the vintage. A few magnificent gems amongst our barrels emerge which are worthy of our Precioso bottling. We create a wine worthy of cellaring that shows the true potential of the Keller Estate property.
Upon first glance, deep and penetrating, red and black in color. Aromas mesmerize with red cherry, raspberry, orange peel, white pepper, and rich baking spice aromas. It seduces with a juicy and silky midpalate before finishing long with lingering memories of cedar, cherries and raspberries.
Julien and Ana sat with The Wine Advocate's Erin Brooks, who thoroughly enjoyed this wine... beautiful, savory, intense flavors, long and layered... approachable now, but worth cellaring for 5 to 7 years.
