2012 Keller Estate La Cruz Chardonnay

Golden hay in color, this fragrant, vineyard-designated estate wine offers floral jasmine on the nose before delving into notes of minerality and savory herb. Substantial on the palate without becoming overbearing, it’s both elegant and memorable. Editors’ Choice. —V.B.

2010 Keller Estate Oro de Plata Chardonnay
"Awesomely rich and ripe in Meyer lemon tart, orange zest and golden mango flavors, with oak and lees nuances that make it complex and interesting. The wine did not undergo malolactic fermentation, which gives the acidity the bite of a fresh green apple."

2010 Keller Estate La Cruz Chardonnay
"Rich and fancy in the popular style, showing lots of tropical and citrus fruit, honey, mineral, vanilla, lees and oak flavors, wrapped into a buttery, creamy texture. "

2010 Keller Estate Rotie
"A stylish Rhône-style blend, offering classy aromas and flavors, with roasted dark berry, hot brick, gravelly earth, spice, dried herb, leather and tobacco notes. The finish sails on, picking up game and roasted herb nuances, ending with firm, fine-grained tannins. Syrah and Viognier. Drink now through 2022."

2010 Keller Estate Precioso Pinot Noir
"Picture-perfect coastal Pinot Noir. The cool vintage hasn’t harmed it in the least, affording rich berry, cola and currant flavors that are ripe despite fairly low alcohol. The texture is as light and silky as you can expect a nice Pinot to be. But the wine is not simple. On the contrary, it has complexities of mushrooms, forest floor and piney balsam that make it…" — Wine Enthusiast, 93 Points  (11/1/2013)

2010 Keller Estate El Coro Pinot Noir
"El Coro is a block in the Petaluma Gap estate vineyard that is exposed to the winds. That may account for the wine’s tight, closed quality. It’s brisk in acidity and strong in tannins, although it preserves Pinot’s light, silky texture. The fruits are intensely concentrated in raspberries, cranberries and currants. No reason why this Pinot shouldn’t develop in the…"  — Wine Enthusiast, 90 Points  (11/1/2013)

2010 Keller Estate La Cruz Pinot Noir
"Leaner and tighter than this bottling has been the previous few vintages, this wine is showing hard tannins obscure in plum, black cherry pie and mocha flavors. Yet it’s a balanced wine, which should develop bottle complexity after 2016." — Wine Enthusiast, 90 Points  (11/1/2013)
