The 2019 La Cruz Vineyard Pinot Gris is fragrant with white lilies and pineapple followed by green apple and flint.
Vineyard Notes
The ancient seabed of the San Pablo Bay is mineral-rich, with clay soils that define La Cruz Vineyard. This site is located in the lower portion of the property and sheltered more from the wind. Typical of this vineyard is a bright acidity and signature spice notes. The Pinot Gris yields are kept very low and fruit is allowed to hang a little longer to ensure we get the fruit intensity, mouthfeel, and vibrant aromatics.
