Green Salsa/ Raw: Grace's sauce is about as easy as it gets. A perfect sauce for topping a quesadilla (which is the easiest lunch or snack to make) but also is great with ceviche or topping a salad. Grace also enjoys this sauce with roasted chicken and seared fish. The acidity brightens any simple dish, while the creaminess in the avocado gives it a good balance.
Ingredients
16 ozs tomates verde (about 8)
2 Serrano chiles
1/3 white onion
1/3 bunch of cilantro
1/2 tsp salt
1 avocado (or more if making guacamole)
Directions
Place all the ingredients in the blender and pulse gently, ensuring the sauce stays slightly textured. Add the avocado(s) at the end and pulse slightly to keep texture.
