The family-founded Keller Estate winery overlooks the Petaluma River Valley and Coastal Mountains from the southern reaches of the Petaluma Gap AVA, known for its persistent Pacific breezes and dense fog. These conditions, and their effects on the vines, along with our soil profiles and hillside aspect facing West, define our terroir by creating unique, aromatic wines which are vibrant and balanced. Precioso Selections
Crafted in small amounts, these precious wines represent the very best of each vintage. Keller Estate's elegance and picturesque family estate prides itself in exceptional hand-crafted wines. Our drive: sophistication and luxury for life's special moments. Every year our winemaker encounters outstanding barrels that are inspiring and shine a light on what makes each vintage unique. Ana Keller selects just a few of these barrels into the most iconic Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from our Keller Estate.
Vineyard Designates
These wines are exclusively from the fruit grown on Keller Estate, and it's La Cruz and El Coro vineyards. These site-specific wines reflect the influence of the Petaluma Gap wind, the diversity of soils, and the carefully planted vineyards. Available in very limited amounts, these wines showcase the extraordinary individual character of the Keller Estate and are a true representation of the hard work dedicated to growing exceptional estate fruit.
Expressions of the Estate
The concept of terroir is one that captures both time and place. With 30 years of experience organically farming grapes at Keller Estate, certain factors including soil, topography, and climate have presented a complete picture of our property and its natural environment. We strive to harness what the land and vintage provides to be reflected in these passion driven wines. These explorations deliver a perfect symphony of delicacy, minerality, and acidity.
The 2022 Rosé of Pinot Noir is alive with aromas of white strawberry, rose, and crushed rock. Luscious flavors of watermelon and maraschino cherry caress the palate. As the vibrant acidity and exceptional minerality guide the wine into a long, crisp finish.
The 2020 La Cruz Vineyard Pinot Gris opens with a nose of just-baked apple pie. On the palate, taste juicy cantaloupe, orange zest and notes of anise.
Sparkling Wines
The mineral ladden soils and the Petaluma Gap winds are the perfect combination for producing outstanding sparkling wines.
Blanc de Blancs is a term created in Champagne. It is used to refer to champagne produced entirely from white grapes, most commonly Chardonnay. In the style of the Côte des Blancs, Keller Estate produced their own Blanc des Blancs in 2019. Ana Keller and Julien Teichmann created it in an ode to La Cruz vineyard’s Chardonnay planted in our estate in 1989.
